Apokoronas Region west Crete
Apokoronas is a province of north-west Crete, in Chania Prefecture, between Chania and Rethimno towns. The area is very green and fertile covered with wild and cultivated nature. Apokoronas is divided in 5 municipalities: Armeni, Asi Gonia, Fres, Georgioupoli, Kryonerida and Vamos.
